Kitykana is a friendly welcoming Private island Sim in Second Life® with a Scottish theme. The name "Kitykana" is an Australian aboriginal word meaning "a happy place". Yes, a Scottish sim, set in the highlands of Scotland with homes, a mill and a tavern set around the loch. (Don’t let the aboriginal name fool you – we like to keep you on your toes!)

At Kitykana, you can relax, have fun, meet the locals or just look around. There are houses to rent at reasonable rates. When you feel like socializing, come to the tavern for a brew or a glass of wine. Kick up your heels in the Inn or the on our outdoor dance floor - The perfect romantic setting for dancing under the stars.

There are lots of things to do on Kitykana .....

We have stables where you can rezz your horse and ride around Kitykana. Walk thru the waterfall and venture into the cave, fish from one of our two harbors, make and bake bread in the mill by the loch, or relax on the swing and dream away your day away. We also have a beautiful church that is perfect for weddings. After visiting, who knows, you may decide to tie the knot! This church is the perfect size and the perfect setting for a wedding. But beware of what lies next to the church (in case you change your mind at the altar). There are a few who are permanent residents there. One even wanders around aimlessly.

Looking for a place for a “theme” party? You can rent out our “dumpster house”. The two “interior designers” decorated this house with all the best junk from their dumpster diving adventures.
